TODDLER GROUP

‘Toddlers’ is run in the Parish Centre from 10 am until noon every Wednesday morning during school term time. All are welcome. Occasional help is needed to cover holidays.

Children's Holiday Club

Each summer, we run a children's holiday club, for those  from 5 to 11 years of age. This takes place early in the summer holidays and in the past we have used Scripture Union materials Pyramid Rock and Champions Challenge. A fun time is had by all, with lots of singing, dancing, crafts and games.

This year's theme was "Mission Rescue" and was run jointly with the Croftlands Community Church.

We have just run our Heroes and Villains Halloween party, a fun 2 hours including music, games, story, food, prizes and fancy dress.

Holiday Club 2012 will be run in Holy Week, the week leading up to Easter, from Monday2nd April to Good Friday the 6th April.

Junior Church

The groups catered for are:
CLIMBERS	- Ages 3-5
SCRAMBLERS	- Ages 6-8
EXPLORERS	- Ages 9-11
Y4?	- Ages 11-14

Junior Church takes place every Sunday except the second Sunday of the month when we have All Age Worship.

The children leave the main service after the action songs and split into four groups.

Junior Church is normally for children who are in the juniors at school but it all depends on what sort of numbers we have in regular attendance each year.

BASE

BASE is the youth department of Ulverston Parish Church, and the umbrella department for the church youth organisations of the Furness Deanery.

BASE stands for Believing, Anointing, Supporting, and Equipping, all things that we are going to be doing with our young people in their walk with God. From helping and advising our younger teens, right through to mentoring and training our older teens who feel they have a call of leadership on their lives, The BASE team will be there right through our youths' teenage years and prayerfully, beyond.

Age ranges for the youth are 11-18. On Sunday mornings the 11 to 14 year old go to their own teaching group called Y4. Sunday evenings after Café Church, all of the young people go down to the Basement, a place where they can chill out, discuss the topics of the evening, and eat cake! (as well as playing table tennis and pool)

Adored

Adored was on Saturday February 26th at 7.00pm

Adored is a meeting for Young Christian Women, to help build up your faith and to empower you to be everything that God wants you to be. The meetings will have different themes, sometimes involving guest speakers, sometimes just getting together for a good old fashioned chat, but all the time being God centred!

Ages are from 13 to 20, and everyone is guaranteed a warm welcome as well as a warm drink!

This is a very special Adored, with the theme being Prophecy. You will learn how God uses prophecy to both edify the church and to build your faith.
Hosted by Assistant Youth Minister Michelle Vickers, There will be practical themes on prophetic art, as well as lively discussion and worship.
