Commissioning of the new Youth Minister
The Parish warmly welcomed Graham Vickers when he was commissioned by Bishop James as part of the Confirmation service held on Sunday 9th May when five adults were confirmed.
Graham joins us in the newly created post of Youth Minister where he will be actively engaged in working with young people in both the parish and the Furness Deanery.
We look forward to new developments in this vital area of work and pray for God's blessing on him in all his efforts.
Graham is currently searching for suitable premises to rent for himself and his wife, Michelle, and children Josie and Trinity.
The service on Sunday was followed by a 'bring-and-share' buffet lunch in the Parish Centre where the tables were laden with good things to eat as the picture below demonstrates.
